A Southwest Original
Since Terra Cotta's inception as a locally owned and operated restaurant in 1986, every effort has been made to provide a casual, relaxed dining experience. It was paramount to ensure that every patron enjoyed a unique experience - something they had never seen before and could not find elsewhere. This was accomplished in the beginning with an innovative vision - a desire to develop a style which reflected a unique perspective of the contemporary southwestern experience.

Indigenous raw materials from the Southwest are incorporated into the decor's design. Cool desert hues of turquoise accent the dining room and the stunning bar is handcrafted in rich copper. Terra Cotta also introduced the wood-fired brick oven to commercial kitchens in the Southwest. The masterfully-constructed brick pizza oven is visible to patrons, inviting them to experience the entire creative process.

Other simple style points that set Terra Cotta apart include cactus, in pots individually hand-crafted by artisans of the Southwest, on each table. White butcherpaper is also used to cover every tablecloth, adding to the relaxed and carefree environment. The desired atmosphere is further accomplished by intimate outdoor dining areas where patrons enjoy the Southwest's acclaimed climate. Terra Cotta has remained the leader in innovative southwestern cuisine by being perpetually innovative.
